HUGH ROBICHAUD
I had a dream of becoming a lawyer at a very early age. I ran the family fishing business for a time before completing my Bachelor of Commerce degree (first class honours) in 1998 and Bachelor of Laws degree in 2001, both from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Upon gaining admission to the Nova Scotia bar in 2002 I returned to my roots and set up a solo law practice which quickly became successful and rewarding. I was blessed with great staff in serving my clients for twenty-two years now.
When not at the office or in Court I can be found in my oceanfront gardens close to my family.
BERLI OLIVIER
I was born and raised in the Republic of South Africa. Growing up in a small town I was fascinated by the law from a young age. I obtained my Bachelor of Commerce followed by my Bachelor of Law from the University of South Africa. In 2019 I decided to call Nova Scotia home. I joined Hugh Robichaud’s team as a legal assistant in December while obtaining my Certificate of Qualification from The National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada. I articled with Hugh Robichaud and was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in June 2023. I am excited to continue working with Hugh Robichaud as an associate continuing to provide our clients with high-quality services.
